Growing up in a seaside town in New Jersey (where I am lucky enough to hear the ocean from my bedroom window), I have always had a soft spot for coastal-inspired decorating. I find the balance of whimsy beach elements, like shells and large pieces of coral, with more structured, modern pieces to be very aesthetically pleasing.
